One special feature of Langqiao’s newly developed nickel clad graphite powder, is that the graphite powder can be coated very tightly by the nickel at the surface with the nickel content of up to 60%. The manufacturing process of this material, named as LF239 by Langqiao is sophisticated and Langqiao is engaged in developing more nickel clad graphite powder types with different structure and chemistry composition.

LQ’s co-founder Prof. Yongchang Jia had been involved in nickel clad powder R&D for more than 20 years since he worked in Beijing General Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. The company LQ now attaches great importance to the development of nickel cladding powder as it can not only serve thermal spray industry but also electronics industry.
