In February 2015, at its Beijing facility, UCT launched the UC-1000, China's first automatic thermal spray operating platform that adopts high-performance industrial PLC, mass flowmeter, PC+PLC, recipe restoration, touchscreen MMI, close-loop control and multi processes control technologies. The utmost and strategic advantage of this automatic controlling platform is not just easy to use, high precision in gas flow, or multi processes control function, is that it can digitalize the process parameters, as compared to the float type flowmeter in before which can only gauge a parameter by adjusting the position of float in the glass tube, this new applied technology enable the spraying process to be restored, monitored, logged, analyzed, printed, and even databased for future AI processing.
