To implement the agreement on joint manufacturing of large-sized gas turbines, the two partners, MHI and Dongfang IGT (DFSTW), set up a joint venture gas turbine repair facility in Nansha area of Guangzhou city in Guangdong Province of China, and selected Sulzer Metco's thermal spray systems for the repairing works.

The plasma spraying coating cell is a very important part of the investment. LQ, being the Sulzer Metco's representitve in China played a very important role of its installation, and certainly we were very happy had a chance to work with Sulzer Metco Janpan's specialists. The installation was successfully finished on time. Another Sulzer Metco system is on duty in China then.
